Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST)

Experience the healing power of Tibetan singing bowls to achieve deep relaxation and inner harmony. Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) uses the gentle vibrations and tones of Himalayan singing bowls to create a meditative atmosphere that grounds and transforms.

Body Therapy using Tibetan Bowls

This unique therapy, offered in Vancouver, harnesses sound and vibrations to deeply penetrate the body, relieving tension and releasing energy blockages. Unlike traditional massage, VST is non-invasive—the bowls are placed directly on the body, and their physical vibrations harmonize with surrounding sounds, creating a spiritual and healing experience while you remain fully clothed. This holistic approach restores balance and helps you connect with your inner self through the power of sound.

Grounding in a Large Tibetan Bowl

In addition to body massage, you can experience the grounding power of standing in a large Tibetan bowl (weighing over 9 kg). Vibrations rise through your body, providing stability, clarity, and a profound sense of connection with the Earth. At the same time, I use a second “OM” bowl, directing its vibrations from top to bottom for a complete harmonizing effect.

Sound Bath with Himalayan Singing Bowls

Relax and allow the healing sounds of Himalayan singing bowls to guide you into a Theta state, where deep relaxation and healing occur. This sound bath relaxes every muscle in your body, allowing your subconscious mind to flow freely, unlocking insights, creativity, and solutions to internal questions.

Body Therapy Using Vibrational Tibetan Bowls

Vibrational Sound Therapy (VST) blends soothing vibrations and harmonious tones to bring about an immediate state of deep relaxation. By placing therapeutic Tibetan bowls directly on the body, the sound waves gently interact with your body’s natural rhythms, creating a powerful and calming treatment experience. Clients often describe the sensation as meditative, deeply soothing, and restorative.

One of the key benefits of VST is that you remain fully clothed during the session. For the best experience, it’s recommended to wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing without buttons or zippers. The sound and vibrations do the work, allowing the body to relax without the need for traditional massage techniques. This makes it an excellent option for those who may feel uneasy about physical touch.

During a session, multiple bowls are placed on and around the body, and the vibrations resonate deeply due to the body’s high water content (70%). These gentle vibrations can reduce tension, release energy blockages, and promote overall relaxation. Unlike traditional massage, VST is non-invasive and does not cause discomfort or pain.

While VST is a unique and gentle therapy, there are some

contraindications to be aware of:

Pregnancy (particularly in the first trimester)

Pacemakers or other electronic implants

Severe mental health conditions (such as schizophrenia)

Recent surgeries (within the past 6 weeks)

Acute or severe infections

Thrombosis or blood clots

If you have any of these conditions, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking a session. This therapy is a unique and exciting new offering in Vancouver, making it a special experience for clients looking to explore the calming effects of sound and vibration.

According to Hindu scriptures and the Big Bang theory, “OM” is the cosmic sound that initiated the birth of the Universe. It is the original vibration from which all other energies and vibrations emerge.

My journey into yoga began after a cervical spine injury in 1996. In 2000, I turned to yoga to strengthen my back muscles, and from the very first lesson, I fell in love with this practice. In 2012, I received my first teaching certification and began sharing my passion with others. I continued my education and in 2021, I became certified at Yyoga in Vancouver.

A sound-vibration session offers a therapeutic resonance that promotes inner balance and well-being. Resonance, or the body’s natural reaction to vibration, has been studied for centuries, with significant contributions from Galileo Galilei in 1602, Nikola Tesla in 1900, and W.O. Schumann in 1952.

The soothing tones of Tibetan bowls help calm brain activity, guiding the mind into a state of alpha, theta, and delta brainwaves, which are associated with deep relaxation. This reduces anxiety and stress while promoting the restoration of the nervous system and mental health.
